Damien Hirst’s Cathedral series features symmetrical kaleidoscopic patterns made up of numerous butterfly wings, inspired by the stained-glass rose windows of Gothic cathedrals around the world, such as the Hagia Sophia, Notre-Dame de Paris, and the Palais des Papes. With their hypnotic geometric designs, the limited-edition prints are reminiscent of Hirst’s famous Kaleidoscope paintings.
