This book was published on the occasion of Glenn Brown: We’ll Keep On Dancing Till We Pay the Rent at Gagosian, 541 West 24th Street, New York. The exhibition featured paintings, sculptures, and drawings—including double portraits, twisted figures, and a large-scale still life with ripened quinces—all rendered in Brown’s trademark intricate loops and swirls of paint. Two sculptures recall the distinctive brushwork of Frank Auerbach and the monochromatic bronzes of Willem de Kooning.
