




Masa Designs: Tojinbo Cliffs Hachi (Bowl)
Inspired by the TÅjinbÅ Cliffs of Fukui Prefecture in Japan, this bowl was designed by legendary chef Masayoshi Takayama, known as Masa, to serve as an ice basin for keeping an open sake bottle cold, but may also be used as a salad bowl. Each is unique in color and shape, ensuring no two pieces are alike.
Following the seven principles of shibusaāsimplicity, implicitness, modesty, naturalness, imperfection, everydayness, and silenceāthe Masa Designs collection is crafted to improve the aesthetics of everyday life.
