Takashi Murakami × Virgil Abloh: “BAG”

Takashi Murakami and Virgil Abloh collaborated to create a collection of handbags combining the multidirectional arrow logo of Abloh’s street-couture label Off-White and an image of Mr. DOB, the whimsical character inspired by anime and manga that became Murakami’s first signature creation. Each cotton canvas bag is unique and signed by both artists.

Kindred spirits traversing various sectors of a broad cultural zone, Murakami and Abloh push against the parameters of fashion, art, and popular culture, provocatively blurring the lines between them.
