Designed by Eugenie Niarchos for Venyx World, the Glass Tears Ring is a brilliant interpretation of Man Ray’s Larmes (Tears, c. 1932). The iconic Surrealist photograph—a close-up of a model’s upturned face, with glass beads standing in for her tears—channels the melodrama of silent film. The ring, crafted in white gold with mother-of-pearl, nearly 1 carat of brilliant diamonds, enamel, and black rhodium, reimagines the woman’s weeping eye and magnifies the emotions of Man Ray’s artwork.
