Ellsworth Kelly: Spencertown

Handsomely designed and produced, this catalogue was published in conjunction with an exhibition of recent paintings by Ellsworth Kelly at Anthony d’Offay Gallery, London, in 1994, which traveled to Matthew Marks Gallery, New York, in 1994–95. Signed by the artist on the title page, it reproduces in color sixteen of his paintings along with striking black-and-white photographs by Jack Shear of Kelly’s home and studio in Spencertown, New York. It also includes an introduction by art historian Yve-Alain Bois, a bibliography, and exhibition history.
